FOREVER Laser-Dark (No-Cut) Transfer Sheets 8.5" x 11" provide a professional two-step laser transfer solution designed for creating vibrant, highly detailed graphics on dark, colored, and light substrates without the need for cutting or weeding.
The Laser-Dark system combines A-Foil with B-Paper PRO to create a self-weeding transfer. The design is first printed in mirror image onto the matte side of the A-Foil. The printed A-Foil is then heat pressed together with the B-Paper, allowing the B-Paper's white adhesive coating to bond specifically to the toner areas of the printed design.
After the A-Foil and B-Paper are separated, the resulting transfer is ready to be applied to the garment or compatible substrate. Because the adhesive is applied only where toner is present, unwanted background material does not transfer with the design. This makes it possible to reproduce intricate artwork, fine lettering, detailed graphics, and multi-color designs without manually trimming or weeding the transfer.
The bright white adhesive coating supplied by the B-Paper helps improve opacity when transferring graphics onto dark garments while supporting vibrant, brilliant color reproduction. It also enhances adhesion to help provide dependable durability and washability.
Laser-Dark is especially useful for graphics that would be difficult or time-consuming to produce with conventional cut heat-transfer vinyl. Fine details, small lettering, distressed graphics, multi-color artwork, and complex designs can be transferred while retaining a soft finished feel.
The system can be used with compatible black-and-white, CMYK, and CMYW/white-toner laser printers, although printer compatibility and operating settings should always be verified before production.
FOREVER Laser-Dark is suitable for much more than apparel. Compatible applications include cotton, polyester, blended fabrics, nylon, silk, leather, denim, felt, paper and card stock, book covers, wood, and other suitable heat-resistant substrates.

- Verify that your laser printer and toner system are compatible with FOREVER Laser-Dark before beginning production.
- Print the design in mirror image onto the matte side of the A-Foil.
- Use the printer settings recommended for the specific laser printer and toner configuration.
- Place the printed A-Foil on the heat press with the printed side facing upward.
- Position the B-Paper over the A-Foil with the coated side facing the printed design.
- Cover the A-Foil/B-Paper combination with suitable silicone or baking paper before pressing.
- Apply even heat and pressure across the entire sheet to ensure proper adhesive transfer.
- FOREVER instructions specify approximately 275°F–293°F (135°C–145°C) for transferring B-Paper PRO to A-Foil.
- For compatible OKI white-toner systems, use approximately 90–120 seconds at medium pressure for the A/B bonding process.
- CMYK systems may require approximately 120 seconds, depending on the printer, toner, artwork, and transfer conditions.
- Separate the B-Paper from the A-Foil while keeping the sheets flat on the lower heat press platen.
- Use a slow, low, and fluid peeling motion when separating the A-Foil and B-Paper.
- Trim around the completed design when necessary to remove any coating frame created during the A/B bonding process.
- Position the prepared A-Foil transfer face down on the garment or substrate.
- Use heat-resistant tape when necessary to keep the transfer properly positioned.
- Follow FOREVER's substrate-specific temperature, pressure, and dwell-time recommendations.
- Allow the A-Foil to cool completely before removing it from the finished substrate.
- Repress the finished transfer with compatible finishing paper to improve the finished feel and washability.
- Test all garment, printer, toner, heat press, and transfer combinations before beginning full production.
- Store unused transfer media flat in a cool, dry environment and protect it from excessive humidity.
- Keep unused sheets sealed in their original packaging whenever possible.
