JOB SUMMARY:

The Technical Service Manager position manages the activities of the technical services staff, both internal and sub-contractors. This includes, but is not limited to activities like installation of equipment, servicing and upgrading of equipment and software, field repairs, providing technical support to customers on-line and phone.  

Essential Job Duties

  • Organize and schedule technical support services and their performance; develop quality standards by which they will be measured.
  • Schedule equipment installs.
  • Oversee the processes used by the technical staff in the installation, upgrade, refurbishing and repair of equipment.
  • Organize and manage the timely assimilation of technology, parts, processes, procedures, and skills required to technically support new equipment being sold by SPSI.
  • Manage and maintain an inventory of parts, tools, and equipment to assure that SPSI is ready to support our customer’s technical support requirements in a timely manner whenever required.
  • Equipment demonstrations/running internal equipment to produce sales samples; customer training.
  • Maintain and develop equipment and brand knowledge.
  • Be an ambassador with customers and the community for SPSI and the brands it represents.

Skills, Qualifications, and Knowledge

  • Technical Associate Degree - College degree preferred
  • Specific courses in electronics, mechanics, management, problem solving, mechanical repair, computer programming.
  • Three to five years prior experience required

JOB SUMMARY:

Our Service Technicians are responsible for installing, troubleshooting and repairing equipment at customer locations. Additionally, technicians provide telephone support and product training for our customers as well as participate in trade shows. Perform installation, troubleshooting, repair, and preventative maintenance on screen printing, digital, graphics, and embroidery equipment.Some of the equipment you may be working on Tesoma, Stahls, Chiossi e Cavazutti, ZSK, Mutoh, Mimaki, AWT, HIX, ASPE, MHM Automatics, just to name a few manufacturers. 

Essential Job Duties

  • Technicians must own basic tools, possess a valid driver’s license, and have the ability to obtain a credit card for reimbursable expenses.
  • Basic computer skills are required, and knowledge of screen and / or inkjet printing preferred.
  • Operate small tools - drills, saws, grinders, presses, and a variety of manual tools to repair and maintain industrial equipment.
  • Responsible for communication of progress of repair work, potential problems, and general functioning of equipment to customers and job supervisor.
  • Diagnoses and repairs, in a timely fashion machine malfunctions due to any combination of electro-mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems failures.
  • Qualified candidates must have some previous electrical/mechanical experience and excellent interpersonal & communication skills.

WAREHOUSE SHIPPING - Part-Time

JOB SUMMARY:

SPSI Warehouse Associate must have 1+ years of shipping and receiving. Warehouse Associate, is responsible for carrying out the logistics of receiving, processing, storing and sending inventory according to purchase orders and shipping schedules. Their duties include loading orders onto trucks and shipping containers, organizing incoming stock and putting the appropriate labels on outgoing parcels.

  • Collecting merchandise from the distribution center and safely transporting materials to the shipping bay.
  • Receiving and documenting merchandise for delivery or return.
  • Keeping an inventory of all merchandise entering or exiting the warehouse.
  • Identifying any missing, lost or damaged materials and immediately notify the supervisor.
  • Ensuring that all the merchandise is safely and securely packed and labeled for shipping.
  • Managing all merchandise with appropriate care.
  • Assist in mixing of screen printing inks for custom color orders.
  • Must be able to handle all warehouse equipment including a forklift
