FOREVER Laser-Dark Transfer Sheets 11" x 17" provide a professional two-paper heat transfer system designed for creating detailed, full-color graphics on black, dark, and light-colored garments using compatible laser printers.
The Laser-Dark (No-Cut) system combines A-Foil and B-Paper to create self-weeding transfers without the need for a vinyl cutter, plotter, or manual weeding. This makes it possible to reproduce intricate graphics, small lettering, distressed artwork, fine lines, and other complex designs that would be difficult or time-consuming to produce with conventional cut transfer materials.
The process begins by printing the mirrored design onto the A-Foil. The printed A-Foil is then heat pressed together with the corresponding B-Paper. During this marrying process, the white coating from the B-Paper bonds selectively to the toner areas of the printed design.
When the B-Paper is separated from the A-Foil, the design is effectively weeded automatically. Only the printed toner areas receive the transfer coating, eliminating unwanted background material and leaving the finished design ready for application.
The white backing supplied by the B-Paper helps improve opacity when decorating dark garments while enhancing the brightness and vibrancy of the printed colors. It also contributes to adhesion and durability of the finished transfer.
Laser-Dark (No-Cut) produces a soft finished feel while supporting detailed, multi-color artwork. Because cutting and weeding are eliminated, the system can significantly reduce production time for short runs, personalized garments, custom graphics, and other digital heat-transfer applications.
The 11" x 17" tabloid-size format provides additional printable area compared with standard letter-size sheets, making it particularly useful for larger front and back graphics, oversized designs, and gang-sheet production.
In addition to garments, FOREVER Laser-Dark (No-Cut) can be used on a wide variety of compatible materials including cotton, polyester, blended fabrics, nylon, silk, leather, denim, paper/card, book covers, wood, and felt.
The system can also be combined with compatible hot stamping foils to create specialty metallic, decorative, and textured effects.

- Designed for professional heat press application
- Verify that the laser printer being used is compatible with FOREVER Laser-Dark (No-Cut) media before production.
- Print the design in mirror-image mode onto the matte side of the A-Foil.
- Use the appropriate printer settings and color profile for the specific laser printer and toner configuration.
- Position the printed A-Foil on the lower heat press platen with the printed side facing upward.
- Place the B-Paper over the A-Foil with its coated side facing the printed design.
- Cover the A-Foil and B-Paper with suitable silicone or baking paper before pressing.
- FOREVER's standard instructions specify approximately 150°C / 300°F for 90 seconds at medium pressure when marrying standard B-Paper to A-Foil.
- Larger, heavily printed, or full-scale white designs may require additional marrying time according to FOREVER's instructions.
- Separate the B-Paper from the A-Foil while the sheets are still hot.
- Use a slow, low, and continuous peeling motion when separating the sheets.
- Keep the A-Foil flat on the heat press during the hot separation process for consistent coating transfer.
- Trim away the unprinted coating frame around the completed transfer when necessary.
- Position the prepared A-Foil transfer onto the garment with the printed design facing the fabric.
- Follow FOREVER's current time, temperature, and pressure recommendations for the specific garment or substrate being decorated.
- Allow the garment and transfer to cool as directed before removing the A-Foil.
- Repress the finished design when recommended to improve the final surface, durability, and garment feel.
- Use a quality heat press capable of providing consistent temperature and even pressure across the entire 11" x 17" transfer area.
- FOREVER recommends swing-away and pneumatic heat presses for applications where consistent pressure is especially important.
- Perform test prints and wash tests before beginning a large production run.
- Adjust transfer conditions as necessary for the garment composition, thickness, heat sensitivity, and surface characteristics.
- When decorating polyester or other heat-sensitive materials, test for dye migration, scorching, or discoloration before production.
- Wash decorated garments according to FOREVER's recommended care instructions to maximize transfer life.
- Store unused A-Foil and B-Paper flat in a clean, dry environment.
- Protect transfer sheets from excessive humidity, heat, dust, and direct sunlight.
- Handle printable surfaces carefully to prevent fingerprints, dirt, or contamination that could interfere with toner or coating adhesion.
- Keep A-Foil and B-Paper paired with the correct FOREVER system for consistent transfer performance.
- For specialty metallic or decorative effects, use compatible FOREVER Hot Stamping Foils according to the manufacturer's application instructions.
