Concentrated polyester garment pre-treatment formulated for Epson SureColor F-Series DTG printing, helping produce bright whites, vivid colors, strong ink performance, and durable prints on polyester apparel.

Characteristics

The Epson Polyester Pre-Treatment Fluid (18 Liter Concentrate) – C13T43R200 is specifically formulated for preparing polyester garments for direct-to-garment printing with compatible Epson SureColor F-Series DTG printers. Proper pre-treatment helps create the surface needed for the ink to perform effectively on polyester fabrics, supporting bright white ink, vivid colors, and consistent print quality.

For dark polyester garments where white ink is used, Epson specifies that the pre-treatment should be applied without dilution. Using the concentrate at full strength helps support white ink performance and color vibrancy on dark polyester apparel.

For light-colored polyester garments printed with CMYK ink only and no white ink, the concentrate can be mixed at a 1-to-6 ratio with distilled water. At this dilution ratio, an 18-liter container can produce up to approximately 126 liters of ready-to-use pre-treatment solution, making it an economical option for high-volume DTG production.

For consistent application and print results, Epson recommends applying the fluid with a pre-treatment machine or airless sprayer. Consistent application helps provide uniform coverage across the printable area and reduces variations that can affect the finished DTG print.

Epson Polyester Pre-Treatment Fluid is ECO PASSPORT certified by OEKO-TEX®, providing an independently recognized textile-industry certification for chemicals and auxiliaries used in textile production.

Usage Tips
  • Pre-treat polyester garments before printing according to Epson's recommended DTG workflow.
  • For dark garments using white ink, apply the pre-treatment at full strength without dilution.
  • For light polyester garments using CMYK ink only, mix 1 part pre-treatment to 6 parts distilled water.
  • Always use distilled water when preparing the diluted solution.
  • Use a pre-treatment machine or airless sprayer whenever possible for consistent coverage.
  • Apply the solution evenly across the entire intended print area.
  • Avoid excessive or uneven application, as inconsistent pre-treatment can affect final print appearance.
  • Follow Epson's recommended drying, printing, and curing procedures for the printer, ink, and garment being used.
  • Test unfamiliar polyester fabrics before beginning a full production run, as fabric construction, dyes, and coatings can affect results.
  • Store and handle the concentrate according to Epson's product and safety documentation.
