Usage Tips ▼
  • Mix Before Printing: Stir the ink thoroughly before production to ensure a consistent texture and smooth print performance.
  • Mesh Selection: A popular starting point is 110T monofilament. Select mesh counts within the recommended 60T–220T range according to the desired opacity, artwork detail, and ink deposit.
  • White Printing: Use Superior White Polyester as a stand-alone white for bright, opaque graphics on compatible garments.
  • Underbase Printing: Use as a white underbase beneath additional plastisol colors when printing multi-color designs.
  • Polyester Testing: Always perform a production test on the actual garment. Polyester dyes, fabric construction, garment treatments, and curing conditions can affect dye migration and the finished print's color.
  • Heat Management: Avoid unnecessary excessive heat exposure. Maintain the manufacturer's required curing conditions while minimizing the risk of dye migration.
  • Proper Curing: The specified cure range is approximately 315°F–330°F. Verify that the entire ink film reaches the required curing conditions.
  • Additional Migration Protection: When printing on difficult polyester fabrics, test the ink against the specific garment and consider an appropriate blocker or barrier underbase when necessary.
  • Production Testing: Perform wash and adhesion testing before beginning full production.
Important Printing Information ▼
  • Polyester Applications: Superior White Polyester is formulated for polyester and compatible polyester-blend garments.
  • Dye Migration: Polyester dyes can migrate into white plastisol inks and affect the finished print's appearance. Test the actual garment before beginning production.
  • Garment Testing: Fabric construction, garment dyes, treatments, and production conditions can affect print results. Conduct a production test using the intended printing and curing settings.
  • Heat Exposure: Avoid unnecessary excessive heat during flashing and curing, as elevated garment temperatures can contribute to dye migration.
  • Cure Requirements: Cure at approximately 315°F–330°F, taking into account the ink deposit, garment, and dryer efficiency.
  • Complete Cure: Verify that the entire ink film reaches the required curing conditions. Dryer settings alone do not confirm complete curing.
  • Barrier Underbases: For difficult polyester garments requiring additional migration resistance, test an appropriate blocker or barrier underbase.
  • Production Verification: Perform wash and adhesion testing to verify proper curing and finished-print durability.
